Marshall City Commissioners vote to give $400 K toward a new animal shelter


MARSHALL – It has been a long time coming, but tonight the city commissioners in Marshall approved allocating $400K to assist in the process after the first of year for a new animal shelter in Marshall.

According to those attending the meeting, discussions were held concerning totally funding the project, but it was brought up that the county would be approached to assist in funding the new building. Others thought some fundraising projects could be coordinated to help.
