Whole Foods Market has hired its first team member in Shreveport and she is Kristy Lynn of Shreveport. As community liaison, she will develop community connections and partnerships leading up to the store opening this fall.
Lynn has strong ties to the Shreveport community, working with local organizations and nonprofits, including the Ross Lynn Charitable Foundation. In addition, Lynn is well connected in the local food community as owner of Wylucia Planting Company and Wild Lucy Ice Cream, selling locally grown food and ice cream at the farmers market.
The 39,000-square-foot Whole Foods Market Shreveport store is the company’s seventh Louisiana location and anchor tenant at Fern Marketplace near Fern and E. 70th streets. The store will open in fall of 2016.
