MARSHALL – If you had to ask Kelli Clayton, Broker Associate with Ramsey Realty in Marshall, what was one of the highlights of her job, she would say, “Matching people with the home they deserve.”
Clayton had always been interested in real estate. “I found the whole thing fascinating and I kept up with it,” Clayton said, adding, “I started doing property management in 1996.” Today, Clayton is a multi-million dollar producer with Ramsey.
As a Broker Associate/REALTOR, Clayton is a member of the Texas Association of Realtors, National Association of Realtors, the Longview Board of Realtors, Accredited Buyer’s Representative (ABR), Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) and an E-Pro Specialist.
Clayton’s day begins around 9, and ends sometimes around 7 p.m. Her day includes spending time showing homes and property, phone calls and networking. Clayton monitors property and the real estate market, uploads photos and what is available to the agency’s website and social media sits. Her attention to detail is what makes her successful. “I really try to find out exactly what the clients want. I will ask them what they want, look at their needs’ list and find out what they are looking for price range,” she said.
She researches what is available. “People have different opinions on how a real estate salesperson should represent their client, but honest and integrity should go without saying. I am a firm believer in exceeding expectations and enhancing your quality of life,” Clayton said, adding, “and to me, being a realtor means more than selling homes. It is about you, your hopes and your dreams. It is about a relationship based on trust, knowledge and expertise.”
