Pledges: Evelyn Castillo, third-grade student at William B. Travis Elementary, and James Pritchard, fourth-grade student at David Crockett Elementary, served as pledge leaders during Monday's school board meeting. As a reward for leading the meeting's pledges to the U.S. and Texas flags, both students received gift certificates courtesy of Golden Chick and Chili's here in Marshall.
