Meadowbrook Funeral Home – Connie Faye Meeks
WASKOM – Devoted mother, beloved grandmother, cherished sister and friend to many, Connie Faye (Higdon) Meeks, age 65, passed away suddenly at her home in Waskom, Texas.
She was born in Winnfield, LA on January 4, 1951 to John and Ida (Cunningham) Higdon. She is preceded in death by her husband, Frankie Lamar Meeks; her parents, John and Ida Higdon; her brother, Morlin Taylor and her sister, Thelma Taylor Harper.
She is survived by her children, Frankie Wayne Meeks, Lamarsha Laine Meeks, Michael Wayne Meeks and his wife, Danielle and Edward “JC” Crane, Jr.; grandchildren, Kaiden Meeks, Caitlynne Meeks and Sybil Meeks; her siblings, Linda Monroe, Sue Williams and Jean Marceaux and her best friends, Carolyn Butler and G.G. Pierce.
Connie loved fancy, shiny things and bling. LOTS of bling! She dearly loved her family and her friends and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Pastor Doug Lovett will be officiating.
