Marshall PD buys new uniforms for traffic cops

From Staff Reports

MARSHALL – Members of the Marshall Police Department traffic division are looking a little different these days, according to a press release emailed by Justin Mills, Public Information Officer for the Marshall Police Department.

As of Monday, June 13, the traffic unit officers began wearing a neon yellow and navy blue polo-type shirt and navy blue BDU (battle dress uniform) type pants. Traffic unit officers do ride the motorcycles for the MPD.

Mills stated in his press release that the “new uniform helps enhance the visibility of our officers to other motorists.”

Mills also said, “This release is to let the public be aware of the change.”
