MARSHALL, Texas – Kayla Green, a graduate of East Texas Baptist University and former team captain for the Lady Tigers volleyball team, has been named the new Head Volleyball Coach at Marshall High School.
Green, a December 2016 graduate of ETBU with a Bachelor of Science in Education – Secondary Mathematics, with a Kinesiology minor, served as a graduate assistant volleyball coach at ETBU this spring. She spent the last four years as a coach in the East Texas Juniors Volleyball Club.
A native of Keller, Green played four years at ETBU as a setter for the Lady Tigers. She was an All-American Southwest Conference East Division selection following her senior year, as well as earning multiple recognitions on the ASC All-Academic team.
Green is also working on Master’s in Education from ETBU which she is on track to complete in December of this year. In addition to coaching the Lady Mavs’ volleyball program, she will also teach Math at MHS.
