Longview – Street Closures for Rockers, Riders and Ribs
The Longview News-Journal is presenting a new event in Downtown Longview, Saturday, October 22, 2016. Rockers, Riders and Ribs will begin set – up on Friday, October 21, 2016 at 5:00 p.m. Several downtown streets will be closed to vehicular traffic beginning at 5:00 p.m. Barricades will placed on several streets east of Fredonia Street.
The streets that will be affected to produce this event will be Methvin Street between Fredonia and Second Street, Green Street between Whaley Street and Tyler Street, First and Second Street between E. Whaley Street and Methvin Street. Tyler Street east of Green Street will allow only traffic from Rockers, Riders and Ribs vendors and Longview News-Journal staff from Green Street to First Street.
The downtown streets will re-open to vehicular traffic Sunday, October 23, 2016 at
3:00 p.m.
