Marshall Mavette 2016-2017 Officers received a Diamond Level Super Sweepstakes award at the ADTS Officer Camp held in Rockwall June 5-8.

Under the direction of Heather Hill, the Mavette officers received a Division I rating in all three of their performances at the camp. The Mavettes were also chosen as Gussie Nell Davis Team of the Week for their improvement, unity and hard work, as well as All American Officer Team of the Day for excellent discipline, performance and personal enthusiasm.

Social Officers were recognized with an Award of Excellence, and individual honors went to Hailee George (Captain) and Olivia Runnels (1st Lieutenant), who both received the honor of All American Dancer.

Sydney Black (Lieutenant), Jennifer Elias (Lieutenant) and Hayley Woolen (Lieutenant) were chosen as All American Dancer Honorable Mention, and Social Officer President Sydnea Arledge and George received the Outstanding Performer award for their precision and leadership.

“In addition to growing as individual dancers and as a team, the Mavettes were recognized in numerous ways for excellence,” said Ms. Hill, who will be in her first year as Mavette Director. “It was a successful week and the Mavettes are looking forward to yet another fantastic year.”
