Sections of US 59 to be Closed Sunday Near Marshall, Carthage

October 21, 2020

 Work crews will be removing some overhead sign bridges on US 59 just north of Marshall and just south of Carthage on Sunday, Oct. 25. This will require the closing of the highway for short periods of time at each location.

The construction schedule and highway closures can change due to inclement weather or other unforeseen problems.

Anyone having any questions about the road closure can call the Texas Department of Transportation Marshall area office at 903-935-2809 for more information.
