Optimal Living-Good Health -Part 1 of 2

Have you ever wished you knew the key to having good health?   Health can be defined as the state of being free from illness or injury.  True health is a state of complete physical, mental, social and spiritual well-being. Our health is determined by a combination of factors that create an atmosphere that is conducive or detrimental to a positive outcome.   If a plant is placed in an environment to thrive it will develop, grow and continue to flourish throughout its lifetime.  If it is placed it in a harsh environment without the essentials for growth, it will not take root and develop. Eventually it will decline and die.   Are you cultivating good soil, water and sunshine to grow?  Or do you neglect what makes you strong and never take the time to nourish yourself physically, emotionally, socially and spiritually?  Good health is quite an undertaking and to complete a large task you must have a plan.  If I desire to travel from my home to work, I don’t get into my car and drive around aimlessly hoping to end up at my destination.  Recently I was going to Shreveport as a passenger when my phone alerted me to an accident up ahead.  Not only did it tell me ahead of time there was trouble coming, it gave me an alternate route to by-pass the chaos and arrive at our destination without a loss of time or frustration.  We could have been delayed for a very long time before continuing to our destination. Take time today and consider if you have ignored any alerts along your path. If so, reroute, get off the detour, and continue on the path to optimal living.
