Marshall FFA Officers receive top honors at East Texas State Fair

MARSHALL, Texas – Two Marshall FFA officers participated in the East Texas State Fair Junior Beef Heifer Show in Tyler on Sept. 23 and both students brought home great showings at the event.

Marshall’s Israel Gonzalez won first in class showing his Maintainer Heifer, while Jackie Malinosky received second in her class showing a Lim-Flex Heifer and was also picked for Senior Showmanship.

Congratulations to these students!

DID YOU KNOW: Marshall FFA is the 10th largest FFA program in the state of Texas. The FFA continues to help the next generation rise up to meet challenges by helping its members to develop their own unique talents and explore their interests in a broad range of agricultural career pathways. So today, we are still the Future Farmers of America. But, we are the Future Biologists, Future Chemists, Future Veterinarians, Future Engineers and Future Entrepreneurs of America, too!

We Believe

As different as we are, we all desire the same. No matter who we choose to love, how big our bank account, how light or dark our skin, who we vote for, how old or young, where we grew up, how strong our accent or what language we speak, we have a need for the same thing. We all want a sense of belonging. We all want a place where we are respected, connected and affirmed.
