Longview – New Traffic Signal at Fourth Street and US 259
Beginning Monday, October 24, 2016, a new traffic signal will begin operating at Fourth Street and Eastman Road (US 259). It will be flashing yellow until October 31, 2016, at which point it will become a fully operational traffic signal. Please use caution while work is being completed.
This traffic signal work is funded from the available street bond funds as well as private funding. This project is yet another public private partnership. This project consists of installing a traffic signal with ramps and pedestrian walk-way.
This project is being constructed by Striping Technology, LLP of Tyler, Texas. If you have any questions related to construction please call the City’s Project Manager, Kevin Chumbley, at 903-237-1112.
