Kindergarten Roundup set for May 25 for MISD

MARSHALL – Marshall ISD will host its 2016 Kindergarten Roundup on Wednesday, May 25, from 8 a.m. – 7 p.m. at the district’s Administration Building at 1305 E. Pinecrest.
Kindergarten Roundup provides parents the opportunity to register their children for kindergarten for the 2016-2017 school year.
Parents or guardians will need to bring the following items for registration during Kindergarten Roundup:
• Valid picture ID of the parent or legal guardian enrolling the child
• Original birth certificate with seal
• Social Security card
• Updated immunization records
• Proof of residence (current property tax receipt or current rental agreement)
Note: if you reside with someone in their residence, they must come with you to sign a notarized affidavit with one of the acceptable documents above and both of you must provide a valid picture ID. MISD will provide a notary service free of charge.
Students currently enrolled at Washington Early Childhood Center DO NOT need to register at Kindergarten Roundup.
