Miyah Keller earns the Red River Athletic Conference Defender of the Week Monday.
In three games, Keller recorded 38 digs for an average of 4.8 digs per set. In all three matches, Keller recorded double-digits in digs and led the team. Her high of 15 digs came against the University of Texas-Dallas Friday. Keller leads the conference with 4.9 digs per set.
Keller is a native of Beaumont, Texas, and played at Beaumont Ozen High School. She was named Newcomer of the Year and was First Team All-District Libero. As a freshman at Wiley College last season, She played in 20 of 23 matches and played 52 sets. She recorded 44 digs, five kills, three assists and two aces.
This is the second time a Lady Wildcat earned a Player of the Week Award. Rebecca Moustapha earned a share of the Attacker of the Week Award. The Lady Wildcats are 5-6
