On Friday, January 17th, 2020, from 10 am until 11 am, the Greater Marshall Chamber of Commerce will be holding a ribbon-cutting event for its newest member, the East Texas 100 Club, along the north side of the Historic Harrison County Courthouse in Marshall, TX (at Houston and N Washington). Local East Texas 100 Club board members will be available to answer questions about how the club supports families of officers and firefighters who have experienced a line of duty death. Numerous representatives from law enforcement and the fire department will be on hand to visit with the public. The Chamber plans to make a presentation to the organization.
The East Texas 100 Club is a civilian organization, funded entirely by charitable donations. Donors may become members on an annual or lifetime basis, with options for individuals and corporations.
