Crews working to make repairs to water main break

This morning, city crews were making a repair to a water main at the intersection of Rosborough Springs and West Meredith; a gas main that was not marked was damaged during excavation.

At this time, the intersection of Rosborough Springs and West Meredith is blocked off and Rosborough Springs from Georgetown to West Emory is blocked as well while Centerpoint Energy makes repairs to the gas line. Expected time of repairs to the gas main is late this evening.

Once repairs are made to the gas line, repairs can be made to the water main. Expected time of repairs is late this evening or tomorrow morning. Customers in this area may experience low to no water pressure.
