FM 134 RAILROAD CROSSING CLOSED SEPT. 22 FOR REPAIRS


WHEN:Thursday, Sept. 22, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. or until work is completed.
WHERE:                      Railroad crossing on Farm-to-Market Road 134 in Marion County.

ATLANTA — Motorists who normally travel FM 134 in Marion County will need to find an alternate route onThursday, Sept. 22.  Kansas City Southern will be closing the highway to through-traffic on these dates to make repairs to the railroad crossing.

Traffic will officially be detoured on a signed route down State Highway 49 and SH 43 through Smithland. Portable message boards will be placed near the railroad crossing beforehand to warn motorists of the scheduled road closure.  The construction schedule and road closure can change due to inclement weather or other unforeseen problems.
